First of all, trains to London can be caught from Southend Victoria Station to London Liverpool Street or from Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street.

Bus services can be found on Chichester Road which go to places such as Basildon, Rochford, the Hospital and Rayleigh. Buses to Shoeburyness and Garons Sport & Leisure can be caught outside the Sutton Arms public house as well as some buses from Warrior Square.

There is a Doctors Surgery close to the area with a chemist attached but there are also other chemists in the area.

The Police Station is on Victoria Avenue in between the Library and the Civic Centre.

There is a choice of supermarkets near the estate with Sainsbury’s on London Road and the Co-operative on Guildford Road.

The main Post Office is at the top of the High Street, with a sub Post Office in Sutton Road.

Sutton Road itself is home to a butchers, a bakers, a chemist, a cafe, a pub, Indian and Chinese takeaways, hairdressers, tattoo parlour and a cycle shop. A short walk from the three tower blocks is Southchurch Road home again to many independent traders such as an Off Licence open to 11:00 at night, betting shops, takeaways of all types and the pubs make up this gateway to the Town Centre where all banks, building societies etc can be found.

The Mecca bingo club along with Farmfoods, Lidl and Matalan are a short walk away on the Greyhound Estate.
